Any successful appeal begins with outstanding legal writing. Without that, no appeal, no matter how justified it is, is likely to succeed. Our attorneys do not maintain a high-volume practice. For that reason, they are free to focus much more of their attention on delivering quality work and representation. Their writing skills have helped scores of previous clients have the opportunity to be heard and will give you, or the client you refer to us, an outstanding chance to be heard as well.
However, getting an appellate court to agree to hear an appeal is only half of the battle. Once there, writing skills will not necessarily carry the day on their own. Oral advocacy that does more than simply restate what you have written, that brings the case to life before the court and that anticipates and responds well to judicial concerns, is also important.
